RAY OPTICS KIT
The Light box kit is specially designed for demonstrating basic concepts of reflection, refraction & colour mixing of different colours using various optical components. The kit can be used by an individual student or it can be used for demonstration to a small group of students.
RESISTANCE BOX
These resistance boxes incorporate specially designed switches for precision and rapid measurement of resistance. The dial assembly is mounted on a panel and enclosed in a box for protection from dust and acid fumes.
RESISTANCE MODULE
Resistance is mounted in a transparent box with terminals on its top. Module is ideal for use in electronic circuits where a fixed value resistor is required. A wide range of resistors is available.
RESOLVING POWER OF A TELESCOPE
- Modular approach.
- Components can be used for other laboratory experiments.
- Resolving power.
- Monochromatic light.
- Critical width.
- Traveling microscope.
- Consecutive slit.
RHEOSTAT
Resistance wire wound on a pipe having dia 5.6cm,perforated cover for touch protection. Electrical connections via three 4 mm safety sockets. It can be used as fixed resistor and potentiometer. Fourth socket is used as earth.
Ring Launcher
Ring Launcher demonstrates the Lenz's law and effects of electromagnetically induced currents.
RING LAUNCHER
Ring launcher demonstrates the Lenz’s law and effects of electromagnetically induced currents in a unique setup.
An iron core placed in a solenoid. The ring fits over the coil at some height. Press launch button on control panel to energize the coil, a large magnetic induction builds-up on the axis of coil, generating oppositely directed induced current in the ring. The two oppositely directed inductions repel, thus aluminium ring shoots up-to several in air. No effect is seen when using aluminium slit or acrylic ring.
RIPPLE TANK KIT
Exp-1 To demonstrate the wave phenomena of reflection, diffraction, refraction and interference.
Exp-2 To demonstrate the coherent addition of waves.
Exp-3 To demonstrate reflection at circular obstacles.
Exp-4 To demonstrate constructive and destructive interference.

RUTHERFORD SCATTERING APPARATUS
This experiment demonstrates the Rutherford's scattering experiment. A cylindrical plastic chamber houses a Po-210 alpha particle source at one end, and 8.6cm diameter circle of alpha particle-sensitive film at the other. The film develops in 2.5 molar NaOH. Beam angle of particle source is 2.5 degrees, with deflecting angle of 20 degrees in both positive and negative side. Film is exposed to approximately for 7 days. The set-up also requires a vacuum pump to evacuate the chamber, stereo microscope for viewing film, beaker and heater for film processing.
