  • the principles of thermometry and the rise and fall of a liquid column due to expansion or contraction of air in a bulb.
  • Consist of a borosilicate glass bulb 50mm in diameter with 30cm long stem.

LIQUID EXPANSION BULB (EXPANSION BULB) - BOTTOM

  • For demonstrating and determining the coefficient of volume expansion of liquids when heated.
  • Consists of a borosilicate glass bulb to hold 10mL of a liquid, in a capillary stem with a funnel at the top.
  • The capillary stem is graduated to 0.5mL, subdivided every 0.01mL
