Exp-3 Magnetic moment of an electron.
Exp-4 Determination of electron g factor.
Exp-5 Resonance Absorption of a high frequency oscillating circuit.
Exp-6 Dependence of resonance frequency on magnetic field.
NMR:
Exp-7 Determination of proton spin.
Exp-8 Magnetic moment of a proton and nucleus.
Exp-9 Determination of nuclear g-factor.
Exp-10 Nuclear Spin tomography.
In this set-up, the ESR of an unpaired electron of DPPH is studied. Study of NMR is carried out by using samples such as glycerine, teflon and polystyrene. The applied magnetic field is varied to determine the frequency at which the resonance occurs. Included coil pair is used here to obtain the variable magnetic field. The control panel provides the voltage-control, power to the ESR/NMR probes and coil pair and processes the signal to be obtained in the oscilloscope. ESR Basic Set, ESR Supplementary Sheet, Analogue Oscilloscope & HF Patch Chord are required to conduct the experiments listed under the heading of ESR. NMR Basic Set, NMR Supplementary Sheet, Analogue Oscilloscope & HF Patch Chord are required to conduct the experiments listed under the heading of ESR.
